Bastion Security Services is a professional security services provider contracted by a premier shopping center in Milpitas, CA. Our mission is to ensure the safety and security of tenants, visitors, and property through professionalism, integrity, and customer service.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Security Officer to patrol and monitor a busy retail shopping center in Milpitas, CA. This position requires driving between locations on-site and fluency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with tenants and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular vehicle and foot patrols throughout the shopping center and parking areas.
• Monitor surveillance systems and report any suspicious behavior or safety concerns.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity and incident reports.
• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers and tenants.
• Enforce property rules and regulations in a professional manner.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking tenants and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid California BSIS Guard Card (required).
• Powers to Arrest certificate (8-hour course, required)
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record (required).
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (required).
• Prior experience in retail or commercial security preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
