Sales Consultant - Houston/South Texas (Chinese/Cantonese speaking)

We are excited to partner Fortune Foods, a leader in the gourmet food & beverage industry to find talented professionals for the role of Sales Consultant. In this position, you will play a critical role in Fortune’s rapidly growing portfolio by contributing your expertise and skills to building strong and mutually profitable relationships with customers. You will be collaborating with a team that values competitiveness, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the highest levels of customer service. As a key contributor to the sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales through outstanding customer service and problem solving.

This is a REMOTE position, with successful candidates living in the Houston or South Texas territory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the sales process by implementing the following key steps; develop product knowledge, prospect, and approach new clients, engage clients in a needs assessment, present solutions, close the deal, and follow-up.
• Travel extensively throughout assigned territory to meet current and prospective customers soliciting orders.
• Work with sales assistants, purchasing and operations teams to facilitate high levels of customer service.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Sales Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in direct outside sales selling seafood products, fresh and frozen; other perishable food products and proteins preferred.
• Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in Chinese/Cantonese
• Gourmet Food Experiences: Past experiences within the gourmet restaurant and hospitality industry as a chef, general manager, or sales professional.
